WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
This interactive, collaborative workshop equips Social Studies educators with practical skills to effectively implement technology in the teaching and learning process. Participants will explore how digital tools, particularly Nearpod, can be used to enhance student engagement, facilitate interactive learning experiences, and promote critical thinking. Through hands-on activities, lesson planning, and peer collaboration, teachers will develop strategies to seamlessly integrate technology into their lessons, making Social Studies more dynamic and relevant for 21st-century learners.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
By the end of the workshop, participants must be able to:
- Understand best practices for effectively implementing technology in Social Studies instruction to enhance student learning.
