WORKSHOP TITLE: Caribbean Coaching Certification Program (CCCP) Level 2
DURATION: 3 Days (November 24, 25, 26) (16 hours)

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
The CCCP is an entry-level, competency-based programme specifically developed by and for Caribbean coaches. As the first level in the Barbados Olympic Association’s Barbados Coaching Pathway Framework, coaches who complete this course will gain valuable knowledge and competence in general coaching principles. Participants will be exposed to information, techniques and strategies for planning and implementing instruction, general coaching principles to enhance teaching and learning.

Module 3 – Developing Coaching Skills
Module 4 – Introduction to Periodization
Module 5 – Sports Nutrition
Module 6 – Rest & Regeneration
Module 7 – Technology in Sports
Module 8 – Starting a Sports Club
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
- Demonstrate foundational knowledge of general coaching principles applicable across sports disciplines.
- Design and implement effective instructional plans tailored to athlete development stages.
- Apply evidence-based strategies to enhance athlete performance, safety, and well-being.
- Exhibit professional coaching behaviors and ethical standards in diverse sporting contexts.
- Contribute to the growth of sport in the Caribbean through club development and community engagement.
TARGET POPULATION:
Physical Education teachers within public and private schools (Primary and Secondary) who have completed CCCP Level 1.

Digital workbooks (candidates are allowed to print their own workbooks if desired) Laptop.
