WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
This interactive and engaging workshop is designed to be a thought-provoking experience which balances reflection with action, theory with practice, and individual growth with community building. Participants will deepen their sense of purpose, develop a clear leadership vision, and prepare to foster a supportive professional learning community (PLC) with peers. The aim is to cultivate both the mindset and skill set necessary to lead with purpose in today’s transformative educational landscape.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
By the end of this workshop, leaders will be able to:
- Identify and analyse their personal leadership and associated values which inform their leadership.
- Create a written leadership purpose statement that identifies their top three core values and connects these to specific leadership practices.
- Design a personal leadership vision statement that reflects their values and aligns with their leadership style.
- Assess their current professional development needs required for growth in leadership and community-building.
- Reflect on their leadership journey to deepen their sense of purpose as a leader.
- Recognise the importance of community-building in their leadership practice and commit to fostering a Professional Learning Community (PLC).
