The fine for late return of books from the General Circulation Collection and the Reserve Book Collection is $1.00 per day until the book is returned.
Patrons must ensure that the materials checked out to them are returned or renewed on/or before the date due, to avoid accumulation of fines. Notices sent by the Library serve only as a reminder and non-receipt of notices does not absolve any member from paying fines as stated in the rules.
Lost or damaged library books on loan should be reported immediately. The borrower must pay the cost of replacing a lost or extensively damaged book. The cost of replacement includes the purchase price of the item plus BD$35.00 for processing costs.
All students are advised to follow up with library staff to ensure that no fines or resources are held against their names.
STUDENTS WHO HAVE BOOKS OR FINES OUTSTANDING WILL HAVE THEIR BORROWING PRIVILEGES SUSPENDED IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THE OUTSTANDING BOOKS HAVE BEEN RETURNED AND THE FINES PAID.
THE COLLEGE WILL WITHOLD THE DIPLOMAS AND CERTIFICATES OF PATRONS WHOSE OUTSTANDING FINES OR LIBRARY RESOURCES ARE NOT SETTLED AT THE COMPLETION OF THEIR PROGRAMMES OF STUDY.
